The ex-boyfriend of a woman has been taken into custody after she was shot dead in the restroom of a club in St Andrew on Friday morning. The mother of Lisa-Gaye Coubrie, the woman whose decomposing body was found in Glengoffe, St. Catherine, on Tuesday, is struggling to come to terms with the tragedy. Sonya Beverly says her 32-year-old daughter was a quiet and cheerful individual. Coubrie was reported missing on September 28. Her body was discovered in a shallow grave nearby her home in Glengoffe. The police are probing the circumstances which led to the death of a man in Watchwell, St Elizabeth, this after his body was reportedly found in what has been described as a large water-filled pothole in the community on Friday. Family members are theorising that the man may have been intoxicated at the time he possibly fell off his bicycle and landed in the pothole. It’s reported that two police officers are dead and two other officers seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash in York Town, Clarendon on Sunday night. Reports are that the police vehicle were traveling on the York Town main road in the parish when the accident occurred.
