It’s reported that Rushawn Patterson, the man charged in connection for the murder of popular social media influencer Aneika ‘Slickianna’ Townsend in 2022, was shot dead in a confrontation with police on Tuesday morning. According to police reports, he was killed in the community of Dundee Pen, Hanover at about 5:40 early this morning. He was taken to the Noel Holmes Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Veteran attorney-at-law, Valerie Neita-Robertson King’s Counsel, has pass tragically passed away on Monday morning. Her relatives, close friends and colleagues are in mourning and have expressed great sadness after her tragic passing. “It is with great sadness that the Neita-Robertson family announces the untimely passing of Miss Valerie Neita-Robertson KC, attorney-at-law. Miss Neita-Robertson leaves behind four sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and other family members, her family said in a statement”. It’s reported that an ex-policewoman committed suicide inside a taxi, on her way home from the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) in St Ann. According to police reports, upon reaching Exchange District in the parish, she shot herself in the head. She was rushed to the St Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. She has been identified as Constable Alsiania Flynch who was serving the St Mary division. Flynch resigned as a constable last October. According to updated reports, Flynch chartered a taxi and went to the Firearm Licensing Authority where she retrieved her licensed firearm.

A 16-year-old school boy was reported missing on Monday, February 17 after he physically assaulted another school boy at school. An Ananda alert has been activated for 16-year-old Dwight Wilson otherwise called ‘Deedo’ a student of Rickettes Crescent in Kingston 13. Reports from the Cross Road police are that at about 2:30 p.m, Dwight was last seen at home wearing a white shirt, green tie with school logo, black pants, green and white knapsack and a pair of black shoes. Dancehall artiste Lisa Hyper was arrested by police moments ago at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston after allegedly assaulting an employee. According to preliminary reports, the entertainer allegedly assaulted an employee inside the airport during an argument. She reportedly used abusive language, cursing at police officers and airport staffs. She was taken into police custody and is said to remain their for now.
