Dancehall star Masicka is set to bring his Forever1NE vision home to Portmore with the announcement of the inaugural Forever1NE Music Festival, scheduled for December 19, 2026, at Caymanas Park.
The highly anticipated event is expected to deliver a major celebration of Dancehall, Jamaican culture and live entertainment, with Masicka taking centre stage alongside the 1Syde team, Magnum as the Title Partner and Zimi Entertainment as a key partner.
The festival represents a major milestone in Masicka’s career and marks the first time the Dancehall star will headline his own show in Portmore, the city that has played an important role in shaping his musical journey.
Masicka Bringing Forever1NE Home
For Masicka, Forever1NE is about more than simply putting on another concert.
The festival is being positioned as an opportunity for the artiste to reconnect with the community that helped shape his early journey, while celebrating the growth he has experienced since emerging as one of Jamaica’s promising young Dancehall talents.
Portmore has remained closely connected to Masicka’s identity and musical story, making Caymanas Park a fitting location for what is expected to be one of the major Dancehall events on the Jamaican entertainment calendar in December.
The event will bring together fans, artistes, industry players and supporters of Masicka’s music for a large scale celebration built around the Forever1NE brand.
‘Portmore Is Home’
Speaking about the significance of staging the festival in Portmore, Masicka said the Forever1NE concept has always represented the people who have supported him throughout his career.
“Forever1NE has always represented more than just me. It represents the people who have been with me from the beginning, the fans, the team and everybody who believes in the journey,” Masicka said.
The artiste said returning to Portmore for the event carries special meaning because of his connection to the community.
“Portmore is home, so being able to touch the stage here and bring Forever1NE to the people means a lot. After everything that has happened this year, it feels right to celebrate this moment at home,” he added.
Masicka also teased a major production for the festival, promising fans an experience filled with performances, surprises and high energy.
“Fans can expect a full experience, big performances, surprises and energy from start to finish. We want to create something that represents Dancehall and Jamaica on a major level,” the entertainer said.

Festival Comes During Major Career Moment
The Forever1NE Music Festival comes at a particularly significant point in Masicka’s career, following the release and chart performance of his third studio album, Forever Reign.
The 17-track project, released through Def Jam Recordings, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart for the week ending August 29, 2026.
The achievement marked the highest debut on the chart by a Jamaican Dancehall act in 2026 and added another major accomplishment to Masicka’s growing international resume.
The album also maintained its momentum during its second week on the chart, where it remained at No. 9.

With the momentum surrounding Forever Reign continuing to build, Masicka is now taking the Forever1NE experience directly to the community where his journey began.
Masicka will headline the event, with special guests and additional entertainment expected to form part of the festival lineup.
Organizers say more details regarding the lineup, performances and overall festival experience will be announced as the event draws closer.
With Masicka returning home for his first major self headlined Portmore show, Forever1NE is shaping up to be a significant moment in the artiste’s career and a major celebration of Jamaican Dancehall and culture.
For Masicka, the December staging is not simply about bringing his international success back to Jamaica. It is also about celebrating the people, community and journey that helped shape the artiste he has become.
