A man who was reportedly under investigation in connection with the disappearance of pharmacy technician Kedecia McLeod was found dead at his home in Brown’s Town, St Ann, early Thursday morning.
He has been identified as 50-year-old Maurice Fennell, a security guard from Cambridge in St James. Reports indicate that Fennell died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound sometime after 6 a.m.
According to information shared on social media, a resident reported hearing three explosions and initially believed they were gunshots fired by a police officer.
Meanwhile, investigators have yet to establish a motive behind McLeod’s killing. Authorities say a body believed to be hers was recently discovered in Pepper District, St Elizabeth.
A video obtained by our us shows the body of a woman lying along a roadway. She was dressed in a white blouse, grey sweater, khaki pants, and a pair of white slippers clothing that matches the description police had previously issued of McLeod’s attire at the time she went missing.
