A man is now in police custody after the brutal killing of his wife in Frankfield, Clarendon.
According to police reports at a approximately 12:00 am on Tuesday, the couple were at home with their children when they got into a fiery dispute which escalated into a physical fight.
It is said that the man used a knife to slash her throat and inflict multiple stab wounds on his wife. He then set their house on fire before escaping.
The children managed to escape unarmed and residents pulled the woman from the burning house.
The deceased woman has been identified as Shashane Williams of Cupid District, Frankfield in Clarendon.
Police and firefighters were called and upon extinguishing the fire, Shashane’s body was found in the yard with her throat slashed and multiple stab wounds.
Her husband 39-year-old Anray Williams also known as ‘Bartel’, later turned himself in to the police with injures. He’s now in the hospital under police guard.
