The father of three-year-old Zaylon Pinnock, who was tragically killed in Saturday’s gun attack in Denham Town, has died from injuries he sustained during the incident.
Reports indicate that 31-year-old Kerrio Pinnock was at his home on Nelson Street, in Kingston, when gunmen struck in the early hours of Saturday morning.
It is understood that shortly after 1:00 a.m., armed men approached the premises which also operates as a business establishment pretending to be customers. The assailants reportedly opened fire on Pinnock and his family.
When the shooting ended, Pinnock, his three-year-old son Zaylon, and another child were discovered suffering from gunshot wounds. All three were rushed to hospital, where Zaylon was pronounced dead. Pinnock and the other injured child were admitted for treatment. However, Pinnock later succumbed to his injuries.
