A woman was brutally chopped to death in Rose Hill, St. Andrew, on Tuesday, in what investigators believe may have been the result of a love triangle.
The deceased woman has been identified as Sashana Shaw.
According to police reports, preliminary investigations suggest that Shaw’s former partner may be responsible for the attack.
Emergency responders, including the police and members of the Jamaica Fire Brigade, were called to the scene, where Shaw’s body was discovered over a precipice. Her teenage daughter, who was also attacked, was found suffering from multiple chop wounds and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The St. Andrew police have since launched an investigation into the incident.
