A motor vehicle crash along Main Street in Ocho Rios, near the Hog Hole area, has left one man dead and two others injured.
The deceased, who was seated in the front passenger seat, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle overturned following the collision, and emergency responders were forced to flip the car to safely rescue two occupants who sustained injuries.
Due to the severity of the damage, firefighters had to cut the deceased from the wreckage. The injured men were subsequently transported to hospital, where they received medical treatment.
Emergency personnel remained at the location for some time, securing the area and conducting preliminary investigations.
Authorities have since launched a probe to determine the cause of the crash, and motorists were urged to exercise caution while emergency operations were ongoing.
