Police have confirmed the discovery of two bodies in a vehicle that was washed away in floodwaters in Lluidas Vale, St Catherine during the passage of Tropical Storm Rafael on Tuesday.
They have been identified as Junior Gooden and Terrica Green.
Commanding Officer for the St Catherine North Division Superintendent Hopton Nicholson confirmed that the vehicle was spotted around 9 am Thursday in Lluidas Vale, and was retrieved hours later when floodwaters receded, with the help of a tractor from the Worthy Park Estates.
A gun was found on the rear seat of the vehicle.
The Shady Grove police are investigating the matter.
