The bus conductor seen in a viral video allegedly assaulting two female students from a Corporate Area high school has been taken into police custody.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force reported that the man was escorted to the Kingston Central Police Station on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, where he was formally handed over to investigators handling the case. Authorities say the conductor turned himself in at the Half Way Tree Police Station after being contacted by law enforcement.
Preliminary findings suggest he is the individual seen in the widely circulated video, which appears to show a confrontation involving two female students on a public passenger vehicle. Police say the investigation is still ongoing and are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
The JCF emphasized that it treats incidents of violence especially those involving minors with the highest level of concern. Members of the public are being encouraged to resolve disputes through legal means and to assist investigators as the probe continues.
