Dancehall entertainer Squash has reportedly been taken into the custody of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) following his release from federal prison in Louisiana.
The entertainer, whose real name is Andrae Maurice Whittaker, appeared on ICE’s official website on Tuesday, with his listing updated shortly after 10 a.m.
The development came shortly after Squash was released from the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Oakdale, where he had been serving a 27-month prison sentence. In November 2025, he was sentenced after pleading guilty to being an alien in possession of a firearm.

Squash was initially detained in February 2025 following a traffic stop in Miami, which led to the firearm-related charge.
As part of his guilty plea, the dancehall artiste acknowledged that he could face deportation proceedings after completing his detention.
Although he was sentenced to more than two years in prison, Squash ultimately served only a portion of that term after benefiting from several sentence-reduction measures.
His reported transfer into ICE custody raises the prospect of further immigration proceedings, which could determine his future status in the United States.
