An ice cream vendor has died after a motor vehicle crash on King Street in downtown Kingston on Saturday night.
The victim has been identified as Tamara Manning, who lived in Fletcher’s Land. Reports indicate that around 10 p.m., Manning was seated on the sidewalk outside her shop when two vehicles collided.
One of the cars reportedly lost control, veered off the roadway, and struck her.
She was taken to hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
CCTV footage of the incident reportedly shows the crash occurring after one of the drivers attempted to overtake the other vehicle.
Police assigned to the Kingston Central Division are continuing their investigations.
