Three men including a suspect listed by the police as a major high-risk target were shot and killed during an alleged confrontation with law enforcement officers in Cornwall Mountain, Westmoreland, earlier today.
The deceased has been identified as Delano “Crazy” Leslie.
Police report that two pistols were recovered following the incident, which was conducted by members of the Area 1 Fugitive Apprehension Team.
According to investigators, Leslie had been wanted in connection with multiple serious crimes. These include the December 2023 murder of Joshua Richards in Johnson Town, Hanover, as well as the May 2024 killing of Dwayne “Sparrow” Ottey in Mackfield, Westmoreland.
He was also being pursued in relation to two separate incidents in which police officers reportedly came under gunfire in the Cornwall Mountain area one occurring in March 2025 and the other in September 2025.
