A four-year-old girl was fatally shot and her father wounded during a gun attack in Land Settlement near Royal Flat in Manchester on Sunday.
Family members have identified the child only as Sanoya. According to preliminary police reports, around 4:20 p.m., the child and her father were travelling in a black Toyota Voxy when gunmen ambushed the vehicle and opened fire.
Both victims were rushed to the Mandeville Regional Hospital, where the young girl was pronounced dead on arrival. Up to 8:00 p.m., investigators were still processing the shooting scene and examining the Toyota Voxy.
